Creating a Pay-for-Performance Newsapaper Advertising Campaign on Mediabids: Pay-Per-Call, Pay-Per-Lead or CPA Print Advertising

Generating high-quality inbound calls and leads can be a challenge for many marketers. Here is an overview of how a performance print campaign launch works:

1.)   Submit Your Business Information – Fill out our short performance print marketing request form and a Mediabids’ advertiser representative will reach out to you to gather more details about the types of consumers you are trying to reach and your target customer acquisition costs.

2.)   Print Ad Test – If there is a potential fit in the Mediabids’ performance print program, the next step is to place a print ad test purchase. You may choose the publication you run in, and Mediabids will negotiate the best possible price for the ad. The ad creative will need to have a unique tracking phone number, URL, QR code or promo code to measure all response generated from the print ad. You may provide the ad creative, or Mediabids may design the ad creative for a fee. Your company and Mediabids will work together to setup and test the tracking to ensure all test response is accounted for.

3.)   Cost-Per-Call, Lead or Sale Pricing – Based on the results of the ad test, a mutually agreed upon payout structure and ad targeting goals will be reached.

4.)   Contract – A contract will be drafted outlining the payout terms and any geographic or demographic targeting requirements, as well as response tracking details. Billing is typically Net 15; invoices are generated monthly for the prior month’s activity.

5.)   Creative Development – You will receive detailed creative specs for your design team for print and digital campaigns. Mediabids is happy to create ads if needed; pricing starts at $500 and will vary based on the level of services required.

6.)   Launch! – After the contract is signed, creative is in and the tracking is tested, Mediabids will roll your campaign out to qualifying publishers.
